This extensive, semi-detatched Edwardian family home was lacking the open-plan living space desired by the client. The brief was to create a single-storey extension with a large open-plan kitchen and family room to the rear with additional internal alterations, including a utility room and rebuild of the garage.

The new space enabled the clients to access the garden directly from their kitchen through large bi-fold doors and created a great entertaining space both inside and out. We retained a snug just off the open plan living space, connecting to the open-plan space while allowing some privacy.
